On March 29, 2015 MT Studio presented “Well-being at work with Pilates” workshop in collaboration with ZenIt that was dedicated to staying well during and after work day with main focus on posture. It was first in series of Wellness at Work and Office Fitness workshops.
The workshop was divided into two parts: educational talk and Pilates session.
- reduce stress levels and anxiety during work day;
- increase energy level, mental alertness, productivity and efficiency;
- improve mood and overall physical condition during and after work day;
- perform set of exercises for correct posture and sore back at work place.
Pilates session, given by Certified Pilates Instructor, was aimed to decrease back, neck and joint pain and to relieve tense, stiff muscles. Set of exercises focuses on building strength in core muscles for better posture as well as flexibility and balance. Class was focused not only on physical aspect but also on principals of concentration, control, breathing and flowing movement.
